OMT
Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy is used for many diagnoses in pediatrics. Sometimes OMT can be performed as part of a regular visit, such as visits for seasonal colds, ear infections, or constipation. For more complicated issues, Dr. Dana may decide to set up a separate visit for OMT.
OMT is performed on infants with torticollis, or crooked neck, plagiocephaly, or flattened heads, difficulty eating, reflux, and other common problems. OMT is performed on older children for headaches, backaches, joint pains, and other common problems.
If you have questions about OMT and your child, feel free to ask Dr. Dana at your next visit.
